Sticky Fingers Cookery Parties was started by Janet Cousins in 2007 at her deli-cafe in Willington, South Derbyshire. What started as one or two parties in the cafe, soon became a popular party choice for local children, and Janet took the parties to the children’s houses or local public venues.
We have become very busy over the past 12 months and Janet has moved on from the deli to concentrate on developing the business, offering alternative party packages and taking the parties further afield. We are particularly looking to expand the business by appointing Party Directors who can earn an attractive income by delivering parties in other parts of the Midlands. Contact Janet for further details firstname.lastname@example.org
In 2013, we also started our Summer bake off scheme, offering baking sessions during the school holidays and also to work within schools to offer after school baking clubs.
We have made appearances at the Derbyshire County Show and held regular workshops in the Hobbycraft Store in Derby and Barefoot Books in Oxford.
We hope to expand by attracting Party Directors into the business, who will take the concept to new areas of the country.
Great value birthday party!
We arranged a sticky fingers birthday party for our daughter last May and were extremely impressed with the set up and value for money.
The children made and decorated their own cakes and the whole process was very organised, educational but still lots of fun! During 'baking time' the children decorated their own chefs' hats and boxes in which to take cakes home and we chose the package to include sandwiches - there was plenty of food to go around!
All the children received baking instructions and a certificate of achievement to go home with.
A thoroughly good time was had by all and we would certainly recommend these parties to our friends.
